TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reservation of Service - All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of the quotation. If acceptance is received after this period has lapsed, the job may be required to be requoted. To accept your quote and reserve the services of Still Life Floral Art the contract must be signed and $100 Design Fee paid. No booking is confirmed until payment is received. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all quotations are based on the following assumptions:

  • Date, time and location of the event will remain unchanged

  • Market prices for flowers and other goods remain stable

  • Still Life Floral Art is not responsible for bump-out after the event unless agreed to in writing prior to the event

  • That free and unrestricted access to all required work areas will be provided

  • The Client acknowledges that they may not be notified if substitutions are made. Flowers are natural products and are subject to seasonal variation. If particular flowers are not available, Still Life Floral Art will take the utmost care to maintain style, theme and colour scheme while using flowers of equal or greater value. 

It’s important to remember that flowers are a perishable product that will react to immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. Unfortunately, with various external factors outside of our control, it’s not possible for Still Life Floral Art to guarantee flower quality after we have installed and left the site. 

 

Market Price Variation - Unless specifically stated otherwise, all quotations are based on costs of labour and materials at the date of the quotation and is subject to market price variation. Changes to costs can apply up to 1 month prior to the date of your wedding, to which you will be notified in writing. Final payment needs to be paid at the latest 2 weeks before the event date. 

Cancellations - All cancellations incur loss of deposit

Damages -  All breakages are the responsibility of the hirer & will be charged at replacement value.

Liability - You agree & acknowledge that Still Life By Maia (SLBM) will accept no responsibility for damage or injury caused to a person, property or product as a result of this agreement unless negligence on the part of SLBM can be shown. All goods are sold as is or are hired and are the responsibilities of the hirer until they are returned to SLBM.

Privacy -  All your personal details are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed under any circumstances to other parties, without your written authorization. Unless personal photographs are not shared publicly or the client specifically requests the photos of wedding flowers taken by SLBM, to not be used on any media platform, they are the property of SLBM and free for their to use. Still Life By Maia reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions without notice.

Products - Products sold are perishable, natural items and a flower's life span is dependent on species, resulting in some flower varieties living longer than others. Flowers are a product of nature; availability is dependent on season and markets. As a result, not all goods produced are as pictured in quote, by accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods. Still Life – Floral Art must be notified within one (1) day of purchase of all refunds or returns. We will not accept returns based on change of mind or design. It is the responsibility of the client to liaise with their chosen event venues regarding the construction of floral installations

and hired items that may cause damage. This includes but is not limited to items such as open flame candles, stakes into the ground (particularly grass) and hanging instalments on existing beams and structures. The responsibility remains with the client to seek permission on behalf of Still Life – Floral Art to complete any hanging, suspended or other uncommon floral installations at the event venue. Still Life –Floral Art will not be held responsible or liable for any instances where work cannot be completed due to a lack of permission or lack of safety at the venue. The client's responsibility is to notify SLBM of any allergies, pollens or dislikes to specific flowers and foliage before the execution of the job. Any use of noxious weeds such as Pampas Grass are not the responsibility of SLFA and are not foraged or sold by SLFA.

COVID-19 POLICY -  We require 10 days notice for postponing your wedding date, this is due to the supply chain for our product being guaranteed. If Still Life - Floral Art is not notified 10 days before the event that it will be postponed, then payment will not be refunded (as your flower order will have already been placed with our suppliers). Note: in this situation, you will still be entitled to receive the full product and can use them at your discretion. Should you postpone, we will endeavour to work with your other vendors to secure the most suitable date. If your invoice is paid in full and the event's original date is cancelled 10 days before it is due to go ahead, then your payment will be held as credit for a future date.  We can not guarantee how the COVID-19 will affect our supply chain but we will stay in contact with them & advise you should there be any major changes. If you decide to have your ceremony & reception on different dates, we are happy to negotiate to provide your ceremony flowers & reception flowers separately for the same price. Still Life - Floral Art reserves the right to not participate physically at the site of the event, should we feel it is a health and safety risk to our staff. If this is decided, then arrangements will be made for an alternative safe delivery address. It is the client's full responsibility to ensure their event follows all up-to-date public health and safety rules set by the Government (ie. social distancing, limits to venue capacity) and if the event is found to have breached these rules, Still Life - Floral Art will accept no liability.
